Who are we looking for?

GRADE 7 / 8 TEACHER

Westminster Classical Christian Academy in Toronto is now receiving applications for a full-time Grade 7/8 teacher, to begin in May 2025.

This position requires homeroom responsibilities, and teaching subjects that include Mathematics, Literature, Logic, and Grammar as well as language arts, history, science, and Bible.

We are in search of a spiritually vibrant teacher who is committed to the authority of the Scriptures and devoted to Jesus Christ. We expect teachers to have expertise in the areas they teach and an ability to communicate effectively and elicit critical thought from a Christian worldview.

Our goal in education is for students to have their whole life transformed more and more into the image of Christ.

When new job opportunities become available, we will always be in search of people committed to the authority of the Scriptures and devoted to Jesus Christ. Experience with classical pedagogy is beneficial, but not required.

Employment Process

Before completing the application process, please familiarize yourself with Classical Christian education. We approach each academic discipline with this model and have the expectation that our teachers will teach classically in their classes, although a background in Classical education is not a prerequisite.

Once you have learned more about Classical education, please complete the following:

Interviews

All applications will be reviewed and those applicants whose applications align most closely with our school’s needs will be contacted for an interview. As part of the interview process, all applicants will be required to teach to the hiring committee and principal for 30-45 minutes on the discipline they are applying for or at the recommendation of the Principal.
